    2:49 am

Well...the day I always thought would never come did...

I officially think that my three year relationship is in the pre-dumps phase.  I really don't know, though, as I've never been dumped.
Tonight Andrew knew I was in a bad mood, and I wasn't feeling well, and I told him honestly that I was having problems controlling my temper.  I've recently stopped taking a 'pain killer' med which is actually an anti-depressant.  Some of these meds are used to treat chronic pain (in my case, migraines) when used in low dosages.  When my med didn't work like wanted, my doctor upped the dosage instead of switching meds.  So I've not only come down off a pain killer, I've now come down off a 'happy' pill.  ((NOTE:  The funny part is since stopping the pain med, which is supposed to rid me of my migraines...I haven't had a migraine in two weeks.  However, I've been dizzy as all heck.))

I'm absolutely miserable tonight, and really just need him to be there for me.  But, when I told him he should just go to bed without me (which I often do)...

    He did.

For the first time since we started living together he went to bed without me.  Heck, even when he wasn't living here he never left, and always went to bed at the same time as me.  He never goes to bed without me.  He atleast fights it.  He just said "okay."  And it wasn't even THAT late, and he didn't look tired.

He's also been talking to a lot of girls lately...he never attempts to get me to go out anywhere with him anymore.  I went to check his email for him one day and there were two emails from girls who really seemed to know him.  One is only 17, so claiming he must have met her at the bar before he met me isn't looking likely.  Because that was his excuse when I jokingly asked him about it.  I wasn't worried at all about it until he tried to defend himself and instead of saying, "I have no freakin clue" like he normally would.

My mom has tried to tell me that he would have left by now if he didn't want to be with me, but he doesn't really have any other place to go...I'm the lesser of two evils.  I also know that he is an honerable man, and would NEVER just abandon me because I'm not working and have no place to go, and my health is bad.  I can also see him staying put because he's afraid my mental health couldn't handle it.  I mean, I can hardly handle daily life right now.  If he weren't here right now, chances are I would have given up long ago.  Infact, some days its even hard to get out of bed, even when I'm just doing it for him.

But, then again...maybe its all in my head.  Just like my mom says.

    Irritated
I needed to vent!  Mary, since you're the only one that reads this, you obviously know I'm venting to you (and didn't feel like talking on messenger).

Okay, I'm house sitting this weekend...and I decided to go to my sis' early so I can visit with my niece, who misses me to bits, and to help my sister get things done before they leave camping.  It suddenly hit me that I only have one pair of pants that fits me right now.  Black dress pants.  Oh, and a black velvet skirt, but that's even more out-of-season than the dress pants.  So, tomorrow I'm getting out my needle and thread and fixing my pink sheepy pajama pants, so I can wear those too.  But, I started thinking, maybe I should get Andrew to look for a pair of jeans for me at Zellers, because it's in his mall.

He phones me and says he can't find anything cheap.  Only $40.  ....  So I gave him a "I'm busy" and hung up.  I was PISSED!  I haven't had anything new in about a year!  And in that time he's had two suits, two pair of expensive pants, three dress shirts, two casual button ups, atleast three t-shirts...and the list goes on.  I understand that he's the one working, but 3/4 of the stuff he can't wear at work.  He owns a pair of jeans, two pair of black pants, two pair of khakis, a pair of linen pants...and that's only amongst the stuff he wears a lot, not mentioning what he's got hanging in the closet.

So why can't we get me a pair of jeans for forty bucks so that I can go out and garden, or go out in casual dress with friends...or go for a walk with Andrew down at the beach...or not have to wear pajama pants everywhere!?!?!

Jerk.  I feel like he's punishing me because I'm not working, yet he told me to quit, and he also was the one who got my hours dropped before that.  I think he's purposefully trying to keep me in the house.  Oh, and lets not even get into the fact that the last pair of new shoes I got was before he and I started dating.  TWO YEARS AGO!  And the last pair of pants I bought with my own money was before we started dating.  My mother bought me the most recent pair, because I desperately needed them.

    FOR MARY!

    Conjugal partner

This category is for partners—either of the opposite sex or same sex—in exceptional circumstances beyond their control that prevent them from qualifying as common-law partners or spouses by living together.

A conjugal relationship is more than a physical relationship. It means you depend on each other, there is some permanence to the relationship and there is the same level of commitment as a marriage or a common-law relationship.

You may apply as a conjugal partner if:

    • You have maintained a conjugal relationship with your sponsor for at least one year.
    • You have been prevented from living together or marrying because of:
      • an immigration barrier;
      • your marital status (for example, you are married to someone else and living in a country where divorce is not possible); or
      • your sexual orientation (for example, you are in a same-sex relationship and same-sex marriage is not permitted where you live). Or,
    • You can provide evidence there was a reason that you could not live together (for example, you were refused long-term stays in each other’s country).

You should not apply as a conjugal partner if:

    • You could have lived together but chose not to. This shows that you did not have the level of commitment required for a conjugal relationship. (For example, one of you may not have wanted to give up a job or a course of study, or your relationship was not yet at the point where you were ready to live together.)
    • You cannot provide evidence there was a reason that kept you from living together. Or,
    • You are engaged to be married. In this case, you should either apply as a spouse once the marriage has taken place or apply as a common-law partner if you have lived together continuously for at least 12 months.

I think that is you and Steve.

    Also
United States (BuffaloDetroitLos AngelesNew YorkSeattleWashington, D.C.)
It says if you are outside of Canada to contact your local Canadian Embassy...  Buffalo is the only option for you.
    http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/missions/buffalo.asp
    Immigration Tel.: (716) 858-9501

I think what the two of you should be looking at first is...CAN you get married first?  This would probably make the whole immigration process a lot easier, because then he'd be taking you over as a spouse.  I would contact your local place where you file marriages (ours is at the courthouse) and ask them if it is possible for you to marry someone from Canada IN the US.  I was reading somewhere that said something that applying for a long-term stay in each other's countries or summin...bleh.

I sent an email out to see if I could get you a contact number, and I'll get back to you if I get a reply to that email.  =D

    Who Toronto!
Okay, before I forget everything, and I don't have a great memory, so I'm not going to be a great fountain of information...
It is around 1:30 am and I just got home from the Toronto concert. This is my third concert, and this was the second best (the best being Quad before John died). The crowd was LOUD. At one point, during the beginning of the "Listening to you" bit, Roger swung the mic...and dun dun dun, it broke. You could barely tell tell he wasn't singing, because the crowd just rolled with it. I just happened to be not looking for all Pete's hops. Darn.
Roger had a cold, and I was worried he wouldn't do the whole "YEAH!" part, but he pulled it off.
Pete did a usual "Toronto is my favourite place" thing, even said it was superstitious to start or end the tour there, and said this time around it was odd to have it in the middle. I'm pretty sure I heard over the roar "F**K the rest" as in the other concerts, I dunno.
Sorry, I don't have photogenic memory guys, and I think I'm half high from the amount of second hand joint I got.
For anyone who is a Rabbit fan, unfortunately, he couldn't be there. His wife was ill, and his techie had to fill in. It was a very sad moment for me, but you could barely tell.
All in all, guys, it was freakin awesome. After the Pretenders got off the stage. That woman is so full of herself. At first, when they came on, there was a huge Pirate Radio banner behind them, and she was dressed in a long white coat, and a cat-in-the-hat-hat, tall and black, and I thought it was some punk kid band, and I'm like, "That dude sounds like a girl!" Then that dude took off the jacket, and the dude had chest, so yeah.

Otherwise, freakin awesome man. The new stuff rocked, and they haven't lost steam after all these years! Freakin awesome!

(PS-sorry for the rambling, spelling errors(too lazy to speel chek), and lack of sense making! I am not used to being up this late. I'm getting too old for this!)

    I Remember...
Today, I remember all those who died for me.
I remember my great uncle, a POW, who is a reminder of bravery.
I remember all those who survived, those who are still here and those who are no longer here.
I remember my brother, a CPL, who just signed up for his second run in Afghanistan.
I think about all they did for me. All they do for me. All they will do for me.
I think about having children, and I am greatful.
I pray for the families of the veterans. I pray for those no longer with us. I send my heart out to those who fell.
But most of all, I pray...
I pray my brother will not be the one I cry for next year. Please, God, keep him safe.

I Remember. I can't forget. And I never will. And I promise, this day, that I will never let my children forget.
